On April 4, 2017, Julie Collins, executive director at Life Care Center of Bridgeton, Missouri, won the Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award during the annual American College of Health Care Administrators Convocation.
The award goes to administrators of facilities that meet eligibility requirements with regard to survey results, occupancy and quality measures. According to ACHCA, the Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award is a distinction of significance, and fewer than 9 percent of facilities nationwide qualify.
Life Care Center of Bridgeton recently received the 2015 Bronze National Quality Award from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living.
The award highlights facilities across the nation that have proven their intention to pursue a rigorous quality improvement system. It is the first of three tiers of recognition (Bronze, Silver and Gold) by AHCA/NCAL and requires a detailed application process submitted to a board of examiners for review.
